Effective Monday, May 5th, 2025
The Fire Hazard Rating for the area is EXTREME. As a result, the Fire Restriction has been upgraded to a Fire Ban, effective 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 5th, 2025 until further notice.
This Fire Ban affects all burning, including cooking/warming fires (backyard firepits), charcoal briquettes, deep fryers (e.g. Turkey fryers), tiki torches, fireworks and wood fires in outdoor recreation facilities such as group campsites, gazebos, teepees and wood burning stoves inside tent-like structures.
Please exercise extreme caution and closely monitor conditions when operating ATVs/UTVs and limit use to essential activities such as agricultural or industrial operations during this Fire Ban. The area is being closely monitored, and if fire hazards continue to increase, a full ATV/UTV ban may be implemented.
Please report any wildfire to 9-1-1 with the exact location to assist in locating and extinguishing these fires. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
