Fire Restriction in Effect
FIRE ADVISORY
Effective September 19th, 2025, the Summer Village of Castle Island has issued a fire restriction as follows:

A SAFE FIRE under this restriction is a CONTINUOUSLY monitored fire of LIMITED size for cooking, warming or recreation, burning within an ACCEPTABLY constructed fire pit or appliance, with a spark arresting screen.
No burning of any kind for any reason with winds above 15 km/hr. No burning without an acceptable extinguishing method, immediately at hand.
Please report any wildfire to 9-1-1 with the exact location to assist fire services in locating and extinguishing these fires.
